Suzanne Schmoker Sutherland, a former instructor of Developmental Studies at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, has established an endowed scholarship to be awarded to students of ASUMH each semester.

The scholarship endowment is for students who have a financial need and who are pursuing a degree at ASUMH. The scholarship will provide $1,000 annually to be used for tuition, books or fees and recipients will be chosen by the ASUMH scholarship committee.

Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA, and must submit an application and essay and show determination to finish their degree.

Sutherland served as an instructor at ASUMH from 1997-2009.

For more information on this and other scholarship opportunities at ASUMH, contact Mollie Morgan at (870) 508-6191.
