CLINTON - The Hunterdon Art Museum is offering four full scholarships this fall to Art With Heart, a special open studio program for teens and pre-teens with special needs, physical limitations, developmental disabilities or any neurodiversity.

In Art With Heart, students are encouraged to express their own vision in a fun and nurturing environment. They are presented with a choice of art materials to discover what they enjoy working with best. Art-making topics are tailored to students, and include drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media and fiber arts.

Art With Heart for children ages 5 to 16 runs for five Tuesdays, starting at 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 25. A second fall session will run on Tuesdays starting at 4:15 on Nov. 6.

All scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis. Deadline to apply is Tuesday, Aug. 28.

For more information and to register, visit www.hunterdonartmuseum.org or call Education Coordinator Joan Gavornik at (908) 735-8415.

Scholarships are made possible thanks to a grant from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Investors Foundation and donations by generous individuals.
