American Wind Band Scholarship Winners in Concert
American Wind Band's Annual Scholarship Concert will be on Sunday, April 14, at 3:00 p.m. at Nazareth Academy, 1209 W Ogden Ave, La Grange Park, Il
Admission is free and donations are accepted towards the band's operations.
Our "Dare to Dream" program is generously supported by a grant from the DuPage Foundation.
We cannot wait to present these amazing young musicians in concert and
are looking forward to having you join us
The band endeavors to inspire talented young musicians by sponsoring our
scholarship competition for eighth grade and high school band musicians.
Our scholarships are provided to encourage private music study or
attendance at a band camp of the student's choosing.
American Wind Band, an adult community band based in Downers Grove, was created to promote and encourage the understanding, appreciation and
study of concert band literature through performance. The band, by presenting concerts in several various venues, extends the education and enjoyment of band music to all in attendance.
Upcoming, the band will be performing at the Downers Grove Memorial Day
services at Fishel Park.
Then join us on Sunday, June 2 - 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post
80, 4000 Saratoga Ave., Downers Grove.
