Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that are accepting entries in April.

Map of Prom Discrimination - Submit a Petition or Share Your Story
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Dates: April 8, 2019 - April 30, 2019 - link will work when scholarship is open.
About: You could win the scholarship by joining the collective of students making this the most inclusive year of prom ever. Submit a petition signature demanding change from schools that still has discriminatory prom policies or share your own story of discrimination at a prom and you could win the scholarship.

Huddle Against Hunger: Collect 1 Item for a Food Pantry
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Dates: April 15, 2019 - May 15, 2019 - Link will work when scholarship is open.
About: You could win the scholarship by collecting healthy and non-perishable food items for local food pantries. You'll ensure everyone can have at least one proper meal. Share a picture of you donating food and you'll be entered to win the scholarship.

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.
